If dresses could speak
If dresses can reflect a person
rugged jersey shouts of victory,
clipped skirts wisp of a submission.
If dresses could talk of a time,
some were still locked at home
their world to be only ruled by men.
Piercing glance from the balcony,
passing moral judgment on them,
making their prejudice come stronger
believing its power mightier than the pen.
But if one took a pause
check and reflect upon them,
the dress will change our game
and so do the name on them.
The field will be equal
for all its players,
boys may miss the wickets
Finally, a game would be lost by them.
If dresses can reflect a person.
Games of our days
will not be the same,
And, the victory will be for all
regardless of the striker's name.
