A Few Words of Truth

The truth. The open, unadulterated, unhinged, shameless, and brave, truth. Are we aware of that? Are we open to ourselves, let alone other people?

It seems like ages since I had a really deep conversation on life, emotions, and naked feelings about existence. I am glad to get that opportunity in the first place with a handful of friends, but we rarely open up and access that part of our being often.

In this big, wide, fast-moving world are we really aware of what is happening within ourselves or even the person next to us?

Me, writing fearlessly is powerful, it is a great tool to express and maybe understand myself. I, singing is feeling powerful, somehow it brings me closer to God and allows me to reach a part of me that is more than just myself. I am also certain that it doesn’t come from me but is being gifted.

The power to make someone feel something through your voice (in a good way of course) is so exhilarating.

A lifetime goes by trying to fit in, not making anyone uncomfortable, and getting on with everybody. But in the end, do we live the best version of ourselves and importantly the truest version of ourselves? I question to dwell upon and think deep, think hard because at the end of the day our times are limited and numbered, you don’t want to be living a life that is not fulfilling.

Then the question arises of what if my authentic self is a burden on someone, it then should not be, and what if you are judged, ridiculed, or criticized? That will happen any which way so just don’t bother! At least you will be expressing yourself and not living your life behind a shut door.

In that regard, I can only think of my sister who fights every day to be her true self. She knows what she is and comes what may she never lets anyone strip her of that identity.

Being a timid person is a weakness. No one should be left as a carpet to be walked upon. It is really important to fill yourself with that much power and strength.

There have been men and women who have changed their course of life and made a metamorphosis of sorts to become the person they were actually all the while. After a point, comes a time when one cannot just merely exist in a mold set upon by the world and be restricted in your own mind.

Go out, explore, and live bravely to find the hidden gems within yourself, and in doing so one might experience being with God.
